Gospel Praise Radio was founded by Andy McCord.  Andy grew up loving southern gospel music.  You could say it is in his DNA.  In 2014, Andy started a Sunday morning gospel show called Southern Gospel Sunday on the local radio station where he was working.  The show became an instant hit with listeners.  Over the years, the show received national attention when Andy was blessed to receive Singing News Magazine's Golden Mic Award, given to a local DJ playing southern gospel music.  

After seven years on the air, the show was cancelled by the station group, but with Andy having a strong passion for southern gospel music and a love for radio, Gospel Praise Radio was born.  

What sets Gospel Praise Radio apart from other southern gospel stations is the content around the music is focused on Northeast and North Central Indiana.  You will hear local news, weather, community events, and more.
